Become a Ministry Partner
Greetings and Blessings To You, my name is John Reed, President and Founder of -- Order of the Levites Community Choir. Our mission is to empower communities by supplying physical and spiritual encouragement at the point of need. We strive to exemplify the love of Christ through each song we sing, mouth we feed, and hand we hold. We are writing to request your partnership with us through financial support of our community outreach and missions work over the coming year.
Here is what we have remaining on our calendar for 2010 and the beginning of 2011:
Each event will direct donations to targeted Phoenix-area neighborhoods that have communicated needs to our ministry. Next, a portion of all proceeds will be split with The American Red Cross, targeting earthquake and flood torn victims in the US and globally. We are currently seeking financial support to reach our goal of $15,000. We believe that this is the minimum amount required to complete our ministry calendar of events for 2010 and the first part of 2011.
The members of Order of the Levites, individually, and collectively, have a rich history of delivering hope, healing, encouragement, and financial donations to needy communities through efforts like those we have listed. St. Stephens Church of Phoenix, AZ is a great example where we recently participated in a concert that raised funds for children’s school supplies in a largely immigrant community. We were able to help donate back packs , paper, and various school supplies. We decided not to stop there and hosted our own Haiti, Chile, Mexico, Benefit Musical/Community Outreach in the month of June where we were able to offer a free clothing drive and food box give-away, helping more than 30 families. Currently we are looking to expand our horizons to various neighborhoods and communities and partner with those who share the same vision.
Participating in and coordinating events that meet a need brings great personal satisfaction, but as you know, these events do not organize themselves. Additionally, getting the support of other service providers and ministries is not always free. Again, this is why your partnership at this time would be so valuable to our ministry and mission. We would like to raise donations using incremental amounts of $100, $250, $500, or $1000; however, any amount of financial support would be appreciated and put to work immediately.
